Saturday, May 5, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until noon at Fort Zumwalt North High School Auditorium, 1230 Tom Ginnever Avenue, O'Fallon, MO 63366. Open to the public free of charge to anyone 12 years and older. Workshop will provide a hands-on overview of the Geographic Information and Global Positioning Systems, introducing you to alerting, evacuation and sheltering in the event of an earthquake. Participants will experience using GPS units, collecting data, and using laptops with GIS software.
